Rylan Turns Two!

1 Year

This was my very very first photo shoot exactly 1 year ago this week.  I have learned so much this past year and I look forward to the many years to come doing what I love!  Thanks to these two for letting me take their pictures that day! I'm not sure I would have stuck to it if they hadn't turned out so good!

A Ford Collector

This is Grandpa George Crandall, my husband's Grandfather.  He is a Ford dealer and has been collecting Ford vehicles from about every decade his entire life.  On his 79th birthday this year we pulled his favorite cars out of his barn and I took these pictures (he only wanted pictures with his favorites).  He was so excited during the shoot and clearly should take up modeling :).  He also wrote me a short story about every vehicle and I have made him a photo book that the family will be giving him for Christmas this year.  I'm so happy that I did this and these pictures will be cherished for a lifetime by his family.

Welcome to my Photography Blog.  Until now I have had a combined "Personal & Photography" blog, but have decided to separate the two.  The "Personal" blog posts were being neglected because I have so many photographs that I want to share.  Becoming a photographer was never really in my plan. One day I asked a friend if I could take her family photos, so I could get some practice figuring out my new camera... on other subjects than my dogs.  After that day I was in love with taking photos and eager to learn more.  I love to share what I am able to capture in my photographs, learn new editing and composition techniques, and meet new people. So here we are. Stay a while and come back soon!
